21st Century Skills in the classroom
This project aims to support school leaders in confidently leading staff through a reflective approach to 21st century learning to ensure that all young Australians become successful learners, confident and creative individuals and active and informed citizens (Melbourne Declaration).
The 21st Century School Leader Professional Learning Reflective Tool provides a platform for executive teams to effectively evaluate
current professional development, identify and plan for future strategies enabling effective professional learning for educators of 21st century students.
The 21st Century Learning Reflective Matrix for Teachers provides school leaders a platform to assist teachers in self evaluating their use of the 21st century skills in their classroom in order to set personal professional goals to influence classroom practice. To accompany this matrix the following support documents have been developed 21st Century Learning Matrix Breakdown for Teachers and 21st Century Learning Matrix Reflective Questions. To assist in plotting teacher’s current use of 21st Century Skills within the classroom an Interactive Reflective Matrix for Teachers has been developed and can be access through the 21st Century Learning Website.
We hope that these tools are useful in supporting teachers as they implement 21stCentury learning skills.
